Hello! This finds us in Texas - we are merrily burning up the highways from Dallas to Austin to Houston getting some paperwork lined up so Wayne can work legally in Italy. Of course, all is not happening as fast as we would like, but we trust it will all fall into place if/when it is supposed to.
Just wanted to say that I have altered the settings on the blog so that anyone who wants to post a comment, does not have to create a blog themselves. I did not realize that it was set on "registered users" for postings. Sorry for this... Regardless, anyone is welcome to use our e-mail address: thototom@yahoo.com to communicate. This address is still current. Ciao for now.

Glad to see you could make it to Texas for the Holidays!!! I'm so glad that Italy seems to be working out for ya'll - it was very brave you guys to make such a move, and I'm sure you will be glad you decided to do something like this while you had the ability. I know I would! I'm happy to hear that everyone seems to be friendly and that you guys are getting to know the friends over there. Hope this time in Texas gives you a nice break from the language barrier (and lack of good Mexican food!). Best of Luck...

Thanks for changing the settings, Angie! I read each entry with keen interest and wish you both the very best in Texas and over the holidays and when you return to Italia!!!
Love, Jill aka Mrs. Aul
I have thoroughly enjoyed following you through Italy:) Welcome back to Texas! In your tearing around to get all your papers done, if you happen to drop through Austin...we'd love to see you, have lunch, ice cream...whatever!
I see you have met my sister! When I lived in Ecuador, I lived with Clarita's family. Her and I became very good friends. Please give her a big hug from me next time you see her in Italia! I have promised her that I would visit and I still want that to happen!
Take care, Love, Alicia
Welcome back to sunny Texas - hope Wayne's paperwork sees some smooth sailing again!!! It's such a blast to see/hear Angie's description of your activities and the new friends you're meeting/making! Please keep up the news - we enjoy it!!!
We have, like everyone else, loved reading your posts so we can picture where you are and who you meet with. Seems there are lots of challenges but many wonderful things to. A good balance? We loved "meeting" the elder of your meeting and have thought of him several times since reading about him. Thanks for taking the time to keep the blog updated! Enjoy Texas!!
